Mirfeel ESL Center and VVIP Kids began with the vision of Heejeong (Paul) Ryu and Seri (Joy) Jung, who have always been passionate about education. In South Korea, the couple successfully managed a music school, nurturing young talent and fostering creativity. Their two sons were enrolled in an ESL program, which sparked their interest in the world of English language education. The experience led them to explore the industry further, recognizing the global importance of English proficiency, especially for children.
During a trip to Cebu, Philippines, Paul and Joy were motivated by the growing demand for high-quality English education in the city. Seeing the opportunity, they decided to establish their own ESL school in Cebu, focusing on providing personalized and effective English language instruction. Thus, Mirfeel ESL Center and VVIP Kids was established.
Their commitment to education went beyond the business—they made Cebu their home, moving their entire family to the city. Their two sons are now enrolled in an international school in Cebu, thriving in a diverse and multicultural environment.
